A do it yourself Love spell for Valentines Day (or anytime)

Valentine’s Day though originally a religious celebration is better known today as a couple’s holiday.  It was first associated with love (romantically speaking) in the Middle Ages.  It later became a day for lovers to express their devotion to one another, often by giving your special someone flowers, sweets, or perhaps even a love sonnet.  Hearts, doves, and of course Cupids remain popular Valentine’s Day images, and frequently adorn the face of greeting cards.

But why give your lover another box of chocolates, or a tired card when you can give them the gift of energy?

Today, in honour of Valentine’s Day, I’m sharing a little love spell.  I feel it’s important to say, that in my opinion, love magick can be quite potent.  This is not typically something you want to send out to the universe if you don’t really mean it. My suggestion is to use this spell to strengthen the loving relationship you already share with your serious partner.  With that said, let’s move on to what you need to make your very own LOVE SACHET.

Supplies needed:

• red, white, or pink (or any combination of those colours) fabric square
• 2 red, white or pink heart shaped felt pieces
• red, white, or pink ribbon
• 1 piece of rose quartz
• a pinch of dried rose petals
• love oil (I like apple blossom, patchouli, and rose)
• Indelible marker
• needle and red thread

Lay out your fabric square print or colour side down.

Write your partners name on one of the hearts and your own name on the other.

Hold the hearts in such a way that they overlap each other slightly, taking the needle and thread, bind the two hearts together and say,

“A stitch for me a stitch for you, now there’s one where there once was two.”

Apply three drops of love oil onto the stitches and say,

“Our love will forever be, by the power of three, I anoint thee.”

Hold the rose quartz in the palm of your hand and think about the solidity of your relationship.  Place the stone under the hearts.

Next, imagine a shower of love raining down on you both from the universe and sprinkle your pinch of rose petals onto the hearts.

Say, “A foundation built on a stone of love, a shower of petals from above.”

Finally, carefully gather up the corners of the fabric until you have a small sachet.  Wrap the ribbon around the fabric three times in a clockwise direction and secure with a tight knot and Say,

“Our love will forever be, by the power of three, I seal thee.  So mote it be.”

Keep your sachet close to your bed to enhance your loving relationship.
